Recruitment Consultant
I have been working at Magno for a little over two years now. I started out as an intern, wrote my thesis here and now I work fulltime as a recruiter. A lot has changed over the last few years. New colleagues, new systems, new office ánd I got this great little back pillow for my office chair. Does wonders for the back!
The best part of the job for me is the candidate contact. Our account managers give me a role and I need to find the perfect candidate for it. Sometimes it is easy, and sometimes it requires a lot of perseverance. The one thing that is constant is that candidates are never boring. Everyone I call has a personal story on how they got where they are now. People with work experience from all over the world or students fresh out of college.
I started, and still am, working in Meisha’s team. She has taught me a lot about the recruiting business and really helped me grow over the years. What I like most about the work vibe is that it is all very informal from colleague to colleague. Whether someone has a problem or a funny story from their weekend, there is time for both. It is hard work at Magno, but there are several fun activities that come with it. We have our VrijMiBo’s (remote ones now), team lunches and of course the semi-annually incentive trip. I have already been to Venice and Ibiza ..with more to come.
