Scope

We are are looking for a mid or senior-level Developer who likes to learn about the world of financial risk, and who can improve the extract, load and extract processes of finance data between key bank applications. The Developer needs to have a background in setting up data processes and Microsoft technologies. On a personal level the Developer needs to be analytically capable to oversee complex data flow structures, be ‘hands-on’, and willing to learn new insights in IT areas and/or Finance.

Your day-to-day

• Responsible for the platform enabling BI solutions used in all of companies Banking Services
• Using Agile Scrum principles to deliver, maintain and extend the data analytics & reporting platform
• Proactive in formulating and managing processes, defining how a reporting solution can use the platform, identify risks and issues

Must have requirements

• Proven experience as a BI Developer based on MS technology
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
• Experience in working in DEV/OPS teams
• Certified in the following domains:
  • Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (or higher)
  • Implementing Data Models and Reports with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or higher)
  • Designing Business Intelligence Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or higher)
• Knowledge of data warehousing modeling principles from Kimball and Inman.
• Proven experience with design, implementation and testing of BI projects
• Back-end based on SQL Server SSDE, SSIS en SSAS
• Available as soon as possible

Preferred requirements

• Application Lifecycle management (ALM) experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Administering Microsoft SQL server 2012 databases
• Knowledge of and experience with proper dashboard and report design principles
• Experience with MSBI projects concerning large quantities of data (and performance tuning)
• Experience with projects end-to-end: from business problem (requirement) up to operations of the solution in production
• Familiarity with ITIL processes preferably with the use of Service Now
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Familiarity with working in an Agile, Scrum environment
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
• Fluent communication skills in oral and written English
• Experience with projects in a financial/banking environment
• Knowledge of Power BI, BIML
